Easter egg hunts and Easter bunny trails are popular in Berkhamsted. We particularly wish to shout out to the Rectory Lane Cemetery for their egg hunts in this restored piece of Berkhamsted’s history. (No pressure to keep doing this every year… but please do). The National Trust Easter egg trails at The Monument in Ashridge Forest now have traffic wardens – that’s how popular it is. It’s a perfect activity for the whole family and a chance to get the kids outdoors into the fresh air. Look out for smaller seasonal easter events in Berkhamsted library and local school holiday camps at Berkhamsted’s sports clubs and schools. Berkhamsted School also runs a comprehensive programme of school holiday activities for children aged 3-16, some indoor, some outdoor. This is open to the whole community.
Maybe you are around for the February half term and looking for activities for the whole family to do together locally. Discover what’s on in this listing. Family-friendly events for younger children can range from free storytelling in the local Berkhamsted library to indoor play pop-ups in our local village halls. Craft courses pop up across our part of Dacorum. We look forward to religious venues across Berkhamsted & HP4 becoming event partners and listing their Easter events on Event Hub Dacorum.
