Profile
A special edition of our monthly volunteering information afternoons as part of our Creative Talents month.
An opportunity to come along and discuss what volunteering roles are on offer here at Open Door – this time with the bonus of a cream tea!
Come and meet Amanda, our General Manager, or Caitlin, our Operations Assistant, over a cuppa and a scone, who will talk you through what goes on at Open Door, and what it’s like to volunteer with us, whether you’re keen to work in the café, do some gardening, baking, run some classes….there’s something for everyone!
We are an inclusive organisation keen to welcome volunteers from all walks of life – as well as adults we are able to accommodate DofE students looking for a placement, and other young people from age 16 plus (under 18s will always be supervised, and require parental permission), and we have appropriate safeguarding and other policies and procedures in place to ensure a safe and welcoming working environment.
Please do book for this session – you can come along any time between 1 – 3:30pm (you don’t need to stay the whole time). We look forward to seeing you then! If you have any queries, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Leonie on volunteering@opendoorberkhamsted.co.uk
