The Mud Pack Challenge FAQs:
How fit do I need to be?
We would encourage you to have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk or run 7km (or 14km if you choose that option). The obstacles are great fun with varying levels of difficulty / muddiness and you can bypass any obstacle(s) which appear to be too challenging for you – however we will encourage you to have a go!
The Mud Pack Challenge is not a timed or race event, so you can get to the finish line in your own time. If you are concerned about your ability to take part in The Mud Pack Challenge you may wish to seek medical advice.
Is there parking?
There will be limited parking available on site so please try to car share where possible.
Can children take part?
Yes, children 15 years old and over are welcome to take part in The Mud Pack Challenge. Please note it is a physically challenging event and so all participants will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. Children (15-17yrs) must be accompanied by a participating adult. One participating adult may take responsibility for up to two under 18 year olds.
I would like to participate as a team is this possible?
Yes! Go team! We highly recommend doing it together with your friends and family! Due to the nature of the event you have to sign up individually to personally agree to the t&c’s and a disclaimer. So just give yourself a team name during the registration process and share it with your squad so they use the same team name too! You can also set up a team fundraising page!
What should I bring?
We would suggest you leave all your valuables at home and ensure any keys are firmly attached to your person! There will be a car key drop service available in the event village but this would be at your own risk.
Is there changing facilities?
There are no changing facilities available on site so it might be a good idea to bring a warm top to put on afterwards and to cover your car seats for the journey home.
