Profile
The Berkhamsted Walk is a wonderful day out in beautiful countryside that raises money for The Children’s Society to help support vulnerable children. There are three walks: 6, 12 or 18 miles. The routes vary each year and we are in the process of finalising the routes (details will be emailed out closer to the time).
All the walks start and finish in Berkhamsted at Kitchener’s Field, located next to Berkhamsted Cricket Club (Castle Hill, Berkhamsted, HP4 1HE).
Walkers are supplied with detailed instructions and the routes are clearly signposted from 10am-5pm. There are regular checkpoints with refreshments and we hope that you will join us for tea (or a cold drink) and cake at the end of your walk.
The 1st Berkhamsted Scouts will be sending you off with breakfast butties, tea and coffee. The Blue Tangerine Cafe will be situated at the first checkpoint with an array of drinks and snacks to keep you going!
For one event, three important children and local community charities will be supported. Please register and donate!
