We will be celebrating all the beautiful things of the Winter in this brand new three part course at Open Door Berkhamsted.
Using glorious hand carved woodblocks and fun cutting techniques we will make decorations and cards that you will want to send or keep and cherish…
Week 1. We will be using woodblocks to print our papers and fabrics in preparation for the following two weeks.
Week 2. We will be making greetings cards using cutting, collage and stitch. We will add embellishments to make them sparkle and shine.
Week 3. We will use our printed card and fabric to make beautiful festive bunting and decorations.
Paula Watkins and Kate Dean are international textile and mixed media artists and teachers who love to encourage well-being through art and creativity.
This simple, fun and relaxing course is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced mixed media artists. It is ideal as a treat for our sense of well-being and for making some precious time for ourselves.
