PATCHWORK opening for The National Garden Scheme, 2-5pm. Traditional, labour intensive 1/4 acre garden on a sloping site, many levels and views. Tulips and narcissi in profusion, azaleas and other flowering shrubs provide a feast of colour for the eyes. Seating and cover from the elements. Refreshments provided by Tring Lions Club. Dogs on leads welcome.
The National Garden Scheme, established in 1927, now with over 3,500 gardens, supports Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support, Hospice UK, Carers Trust, The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Parkinson’s UK, and other caring and horticultural charities.
