Do you have a favourite pair of jeans that you want to save? If so come and learn how to repair holes using a patch and top stitch technique. You will learn how to use reclaimed denim to patch underneath holes with a sewing machine and then how to stitch the topside of your jeans to fix the holes.
You will need to bring a pair/pairs of jeans to repair. This workshop is running as part of our Make & Mend programme – made possible by a Dacorum Borough Council Green Community Grant.
Open Door is a community arts space and café on Berkhamsted high street with a range of activities, exhibitions and workshops on offer – see www.opendoorberkhamsted.co.uk/whats-on for more information, or get in touch if you’re interested in volunteering – there’s lots to get involved in!
