Join our Artist in Residence Sheila de Rosa in her studio at Open Door for her monthly Eco-Printing Class. She will teach you an Eco-Friendly print technique where leaves, petals, heat and water are used to make images that connect with nature. Participants will have the lovely Open Door garden available to select leaves, flowers and plants for this technique or bring their own. They will create beautiful Eco Prints by rolling around rusted tins or sandwiched between ceramic tiles and boiled inside a large capacity tea urn! This is an easy and satisfying way to explore plant dyes and shapes, and their infinite variety. Note that finished pieces will need to be collected at a date after the session.
(Every 4th Tuesday of the month)
