Stalls brimming with local produce at food and drinks fairs …honestly, is there anything better than this? This is #shoplocal at its purest. The chance to engage face to face with the producer of local honey, the maker of melt-in-the-mouth biscuits, or the distiller, with their artisan bottles of local gin. Food and drink events can be more micro than a full day or weekend festival. Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes across our corner of Dacorum host food and drink events to mark those special days in the calendar (Valentine’s, Mothering Sunday, Saint Patrick’s…). Many also treat us to in-house, pop-up tasting events, chef demonstrations and supper clubs. Perhaps you fancy taking part in a culinary tour of tastes?
