If you have lost someone you love, recently or many years ago, the All Souls service at St Peter’s Church offers a time for remembering and reflection in a beautiful sacred space.
At All Souls, we gather to remember with thanksgiving all those whom we have loved but see no longer. Our Christian hope is that death is not the end. There will be an opportunity for everyone to light a candle in memory of loved ones, and to pray. The choir will sing extracts from Duruflé’s Requiem.
It is our tradition to remember those who have died by reading out their names during the service. If you would like to include the name of a loved one, there is a list inside St Peter’s Church all week.
Everyone is welcome at St Peter’s , whether or not you are a regular churchgoer.
