At 11am on 0the 11th day of the 11th month, we remember the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front in WWI, and gather to remember all who have died in war. There will be a short ceremony at 10:50 with a silence at 11am.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
– Laurence Binyon
