Here are some of the wonderful organisations running creative courses and classes in Berkhamsted and HP4. They are all beginner friendly and give you practical skills in arts and crafts. So, whatever your experience or day job, you can unleash the artist in you. 

Open DoorBerkhamsted

The Open Door community arts space offer creative and wellbeing workshops, where beginners are always welcome. Activities range from a repair café to pottery; all aim to be relaxed, sociable and inclusive. 

The Little Heath Farm Nursery, Potten End 

You may have already visited the lovely vintage tea rooms, but did you also know that the Little Heath Farm Nursery run events and workshops too? Like their Willow Weaving Workshop on 31 March, a great way to step into spring. 

Ashridge House, Berkhamsted 

Ashridge House have launched a new series of evening workshops, perfect for those wanting to get crafty. Valentine’s candle-making, Mother’s Day floral hat boxes, flower mosaics – anyone? All in the spectacular grounds of Ashridge House.
