BerkoFest Book Festival

On Sunday 5 November 2023, BerkoFest Book Festival brought together some of the country’s finest writers under one roof at Berkhamsted Town Hall. 

Hosted by Robin Ince and Nigel Barden, the festival presented a line-up that ranged from  Sunday Times top-selling fiction and nonfiction writers to musicians to comedians to television showrunners to theatre and film directors, many of whom have won literary prizes and awards in their areas of expertise.

This was a sold-out event and continued the formula that has made the festival one of the highlights of the year in Berkhamsted: to be inspirational, educational and fun. 

As festival organiser, Charlie Hussey, says: 

“What a great day BerkoFest Book Festival 2023 was: so much laughter, so many tears of sadness, such a wide and diverse range of emotions, and all the time learning and being stimulated with knowledge delivered with a lightness of touch.
